It is with immense pride and gratitude that I welcome you to Laerskool Voortrekker Eeufees.

Being the Principal of this school is not simply a position I hold – it is a privilege and an honour. I have been part of the Voortrekker Eeufees family for 30 years, and I can honestly say that I would not trade this school for any other. Over these many years, this school has become much more than a workplace to me.

There is something very special about being part of a school community where people care about one another, where we celebrate one another's successes, support one another through challenges and, most importantly, where we place our learners at the centre of everything we do.

Our school does not compete among the top schools in our district by chance. It is the result of people. It is the result of a dedicated Management Team, committed teachers, enthusiastic and resilient learners, supportive parents and a community that believes in our school.

Every achievement on the sports field, in the classroom, on the stage, in the arts or through our learners' personal growth is the result of many people working together behind the scenes. It is this collective commitment that makes our school what it is.

We believe that education is about far more than academic results. We want to develop young people who are confident, respectful, responsible and prepared to make a positive contribution to the world around them. We strive to provide an environment where every learner feels valued and where every child is given the opportunity to discover and develop their unique potential.

Our educators and staff are the heartbeat of our school. Their dedication, often going far beyond what is expected, creates opportunities for our learners every day. I am deeply grateful for their professionalism, passion and commitment.

We are equally grateful for the support of our parents, School Governing Body and wider community. A great school cannot be built by one person. It takes a community working together with a shared vision.
